The Ayers Island Artist In Residence program offers artists studio space in
the mill in exchange for labor to rehab space or help on other projects for
the island such as volunteer help at the annual arts fest. This allows
artists to work in raw space that is much larger than is typically
available and affords them the opportunity to expand their artistic horizons.
